Rich here. I own 2 bugs right now, both '74 regular sedans. One of them is converted to completely electric drive. No engine, no gasoline, no hassle. I plug it in like a giant toaster.

The other '74 is as stock as can be. I don't plan on any outrageous mods. Disc brake upgrades for both are in the works. I also own a 1981 DeLorean DMC-12 sports car.

Unfortunately, I don't have the heater wired to run while driving the car. It does pre-heat very well when the car is plugged in and charging. The temps here get well below 0c but the car easily retains the heat long enough for me to complete my morning commute.

I've got like 4,200 miles on it so far.
